What Options are available at Ajmera Global School?
A wide range of IGCSE subjects is available and these are grouped into five curriculum areas, as follows for Grade 8, 9 and 10:

The following groups of subjects make up the curriculum. We require students to study 7 to 8 subjects in preparation for the IGCSE in order to ensure that all students retain a wide range of options for further study and career choices. This can lead to an additional qualification - the International Certificate of Education (ICE).
Note: The subjects on offer maybe altered depending on the overall demand for a particular course, and the capacity of the students, and the school's decision will be final.
Who can take IGCSE?
1. Most students take IGCSE Examination at the age of 16 years, but this course can be delivered in many ways, to students of all ages.
2. It is ideal for the students who have taken Cambridge Checkpoint tests.
Why Should I select IGCSE for my Child?
1. The IGCSE curriculum is balanced and lends an international perspective to studies. It helps students to develop skills and abilities to further their studies in greater depth in each of the curriculum areas.
2. It takes account of differing abilities of students.
3.It is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as being at par with CBSE, ICSE, etc.
What are the IGCSE Courses and Examination like?
1.The course differs for each subject, but throughout there will be a mix of assessment methods, including coursework, practical exercises, oral and listening tests, projects and written examinations.
2.IGCSE courses usually take two years to complete and examinations are taken at the end of this period.
3. Subjects are graded A* through to G - grade A is awarded for the highest level of achievement and grade G for the lowest.
What are the benefits?
1. IGCSE provides a foundation for Pre- University Courses in India or for higher level courses, including, IB Diploma Programme, A and AS Levels and the AICE Diploma.
2. Good IGCSE grades count towards entry to universities and colleges around the world.
